Keep It Simple Sister

Well…..a few years ago my friend John Perry (UK songwriter/worship leader) wrote a song titled FOREVER. I heard it and instantly was blessed by the straight ahead lyric and the very singable melody. I knew that I wanted to record it………so we started what has been a rather long, but interesting process. Recording vocals in Ohio, tracking instruments in England, mixing in Nashville. Technology can be an incredible blessing.

Last week we received the ‘final’ mix from Michael Card’s friend and longtime record producer, Keith Compton. What a great guy to work with……our ‘industry’ friends have given the ‘thumbs up’ - so, the song will be distributed to Christian radio nationwide on November 18.

The single includes John and his worship band from England (thanks, guys)……and I love having my ‘Circle of Friends’ Worship Team vocalists Beth Beechy, Elaine Finley and Tammy Koser singing along with me.

Most of all, my prayer is that as folks hear the words that originate from God’s Holy Word, they will recognize that He is indeed…….Forever Wonderful, Forever Counselor, Forever LORD - I’ll worship You……Forever Prince of Peace, Forever Mighty God, Forever King, I’ll worship You….and I will.
